Casa Panqarani Bed & Breakfast was surprisingly basic for what I expected. I had to ask for a heater, and the cafe was closed during my stay, shocking, really. I woudl ve been pleased with an upgrade, but I guess that’s too much to ask? I almost thought about giving a good review, but simply couldn’t.

Cozy balcony for hanging out and enjoying the surroundings. A tranquil green courtyard developed over 40 years adds charm and relaxation to the experience.
The shower barely delivered warm water, and the bathroom had a persistent bad odor, making it uncomfortable at times. Dining options were underwhelming. a cold crêpe was a letdown, and the chicken soup failed to impress. Additionally, the café was closed during my stay, leaving no in-house options for a quick snack or drink.

Staying at Casa Panqarani was a delightful experience. The garden was a beautiful oasis, creating a peaceful atmosphere just off the busy streets of Puno. I loved relaxing in the patio area, surrounded by vibrant flowers. My room, the Standard Queen Room, was cozy and comfortable, with a warm bed and a hot shower that worked well. Breakfast each morning included fresh bread, fruits, yogurt, and coffee. It felt like a nice touch starting the day with this homemade breakfast. The owner, Ursula, provided exceptional hospitality and was eager to assist with travel arrangements. She even helped me retrieve a forgotten item after my stay, going above and beyond. My only minor inconvenience was that the coffee could have been served hotter, but overall, it was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. The combination of personal service and charming ambiance made my stay truly enjoyable.

A lovely escape just outside the city chaos! The garden is a peaceful retreat, and the staff was incredibly helpful, even arranging our Lake Titicaca tour. Breakfast was hearty and delicious!
The only thing to improve would be the shower temperature, which fluctuated a bit during the day.

Warm and cozy with delightful hosts
I truly loved my stay! The warm hospitality from Ursula made me feel right at home. she brought me filtered water and even arranged a delicious home-cooked meal for my wait. The charming courtyard was a peaceful retreat after exploring the bustling streets of Puno. My room was clean and comfortable, though the decor had a rustic vibe that added character.
